Blokus Classic Board Game

It’s great to see a healthy selection of traditional board games in the top toys and games for Christmas 2008, including the Blokus Classic board game. It has become one of the board games of all time, winning more awards than any other game, including the prestigious Mensa Select award. 

The key to its success is that Blokus Classic is good fun and good for the brain too! It is an “abstract strategy” board game featuring colourful squares and a simple concept (no tricky rules to learn) that develops spatial thinking. In other words, healthy brain activity!
